Squarespace is our go to for cloud based web design. It features beautiful image hosting, easy to use content management, and loads of ways to optimize for your brand. I recommend it to the vast majority of my clients. Here are how it’s pricing plans breakdown:

4 tiered pricing: Personal Plan

Business Plan

This plan is perfect for any business that is selling a limited amount of products. You can add unlimited contributors including your store manager or shipping associates. There is a 3% commerce transaction charge, but you can have your customers use any major payment system.

The full analytics is great for tracking how on page your customers are behaving. Plus the new marketing and seo tools are easy and very, very effective. Buy for the year…20 bucks! That’s nothing. Do it.

Advanced Commerce

Advancecd commerce is Squarespace’s big push to take on WooCommerce and Shopify.

And they do it pretty damn well! For $49 you get 0% transaction fees, advanced analytics that are comparable to Google Analytics (and waaaaay easier to use), not to mention advanced selling tactics like recovering abandoned shopping carts, discounts, and memberships for subscribers!

Instagram integration is a breeze with this plan. All in all, if I had a real backend of products…I’d buy commerce.

99 Percent of you out there should be using this plan. Full stop. If you aren’t selling anything, have no use for email marketing, or complicated CRM integrations…fire away.

Basic Commerce

It gets a little tricky once we hit commerce plans. Basic is essentially the business plan with a couple extra bells and whistles. You can alert customers to low stock and create some urgency as well as display related products.

At this point though, if you’re selling more than ten items and looking to expand your presence…You’re going to want the full commerce plan.
